For the convenience of Annual Meeting attendees, a block of discounted rooms has been reserved. Discounted rates of $259.00 per night have been arranged for regular ANPA Annual Meeting attendees. A limited number of trainee/student rooms are reserved at a rate of $199.00. All rates are subject to state and local taxes.  

The deadline to reserve a room at the discounted rate was February 25th at 5pm Eastern Time. Reservations received after this date will be accepted at the hotel’s prevailing rate, based on availability.  If you would like to reserve at room at The Westin Copley Place, please contact Kelly Coffey via email at anpaoffice@gmail.com.

If you do not wish to book your accommodations online, you may do so by phone. Attendees may dial this toll free number (1-888-627-7216) to speak to a reservations representative. It is imperative that individuals indicate their group affiliation (ANPA) when making a reservation.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Partners HealthCare System and American Neuropsychiatric Association. The Partners HealthCare System is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Partners HealthCare System designates this live activity for a maximum of 27.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

In order to receive continuing education credit, you must sign in daily at the event registration desk. Attendees must also complete the online meeting evaluation after the event. The evaluation will open after the start of the meeting and will be remain open for only 30 days. The deadline to complete evaluations is April 21st.

Target Audience

This event is targeted for physicians, clinicians, and professionals in behavioral neurology, neuropsychiatry, neuropsychology, psychiatry, psychology, and neuroscience.

    Learning Objectives

    Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to...

    • realize how enriching the individual's environment with rehabilitation and learning fosters changes in the brain's functional (gray matter) and structural (white matter) connectivity.

    • recognize the promises and limitations of the emerging field of neurolaw, and the ways in which neuropsychiatric evidence is being proffered as evidence in criminal and civil contexts.
    • differentiate the role of exercise vs. rest in the management of individuals with traumatic brain injury.
    • explain the core elements of a multidisciplinary treatment approach to challenging behaviors in youth with autism spectrum disorder.
    • state various syndromes associated with the acute and chronic phases of epidemic lethargic encephalitis.

    Maintenance of Certification

    This event has been approved by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology to qualify for up to 10 Self-Assessment MOC Credits. To claim MOC credits, attendees must participate in all qualifying MOC sessions (noted in the program with an asterisk *), and complete the online event evaluation, a pre-event online exam, and a post-event online exam. The 26 question, multiple choice pre-event exam must be completed in one sitting before the Annual Meeting sessions begin.  Thus, the link will remain active until 8am Eastern Time on Thursday, March 22nd.  If you do not complete the exam before this time, you will be unable to claim MOC credits.

    The post-event exam will be available beginning at 2:30pm Eastern Time on Friday, March 23rd. The deadline to complete the post-event exam has been extended through Wednesday, April 4th. If you do not complete the post-event exam before this time, you will be unable to claim MOC credits.

    MOC certificates will be issued by ANPA. Certificates will be emailed within 60 days of the post-event exam closing.

    The ANPA meeting provides an excellent opportunity for service providers, publishers, and members of industry to encounter national leaders in neuropsychiatric and neurobehavioral theory and practice through sponsorship opportunities that include exhibit tables, sponsored events or services at the annual meeting, and push notifications and sponsored posts in our digital meeting app.

    Supporter materials and exhibits must be non-political and shall not be offensive to public decency on either a local or international basis. The character of exhibits and materials, including messages distributed via the ANPA meeting app, are subject to the approval of the ANPA Administrative Director and Executive Committee. 

    ANPA reserves the right to refuse applications, cancel, or refuse rental of display space to any person or company whose conduct or display of goods is, in the opinion of the ANPA, incompatible with the general character and educational objectives of the Annual Meeting and the policies of the ANPA.

    Applications for exhibitors are subject to review by the ANPA Administrative Director and Executive Committee to determine suitability for the meeting and to ensure conformity with convention standards.

    Name Badge(s) identifying exhibitor representative(s) as commercial agents must be worn at all times. Participants’ names will not be released to supporters. 

    Demonstrating by exhibitors must be confined to the area immediate to the supporter's assigned exhibit area. Sales or promotion may not take place inside any room where continuing education activities are taking place. 

    Exhibit tables will be provided in an area through the convention management of the hotel or other meeting facility. ANPA or the hotel will provide no other exhibitor services. Tables will be six (6) feet long and dressed with linens. Large trade show booths are not permitted. 

    Exhibit material should be limited to tabletop displays, branded table skirts, and similar items. Only one (1) freestanding item such as a retractable banner or literature display will be permitted per table unless otherwise negotiated. 

    Bronze Supporter materials to be placed on the Take-One table should be limited to flyers and brochures.

    Exhibits will be located in the Pre-Function space of the main education/meeting room, near food and beverage displays. Exhibits can be available for viewing during all Annual Meeting hours, Thursday through Saturday. Please refer to the event schedule.
